Worldwide musicians light up the stage at the annual Bermuda Music Festival. Producer and composer Quincy Jones is joined by Erykah Badu, Wyclef Jean, Patti Austin and others at the 200-year-old Keep Yard at the Bermuda Maritime Museum.
The 2009 festival pays special tribute to Quincy Jones, winner of 27 Grammy Awards, who is performing with artists he has mentored or guided at different points in their careers. On the last evening, there is a commemorative performance of Michael Jackson's Thriller, 25 years after the best-selling album was first produced by Quincy Jones himself.
James Ingram, John Legend, Michael McDonald, Kenny Rogers and Naturally Seven complete the line-up. Tickets can be bought at the iStore in Hamilton, Fabulous Fashions in Heron Bay Plaza or on the festival website.
